However the statistics is a bit low in UK but is still on hike!

Even according to another survey BoldChat, it was found that in the US itself 21% of online shoppers prefer live chat which is miles ahead of social media which is 2%.

Even it was also marked that the proactive invitations to live chat were also appreciated, with 66% being either ‘receptive’ or ‘appreciative’ of the customer support team making the first move.

Bold chat also looked at the perks that would motivate the visitors to become engaged with live chat. 57% of the visitors said that it can be a proactive invitation which can help while 80% agreed that something enticing like free shipping would strongly draw the visitor to live chat there and then.
